タイの懐中仏

15世紀〜16世紀にかけてのタイの懐中仏(かいちゅうぶつ)です。
タイでは極小の仏像を御守として身につける習慣があり、ほとんどが銅製ですが中には素焼きのものもあります。日本にも入ってきている習慣で、日本のものはおおむね木彫となっています。

本来のように懐やバッグに入れて持ち歩くのもよし、常に身近に置いてちょっと疲れた時など掌に乗せてお顔を眺めるだけで心が解れてきますよ。

It is Thai breast Buddha from to the 15th to the 16th century.
I have a custom to wear a very small Buddha statue as a lucky charm in Thailand, and most are copper, but there is the thing unglazed inside. In the custom that is included in Japan, the Japanese thing almost becomes the wooden sculpture.

Original; is, and put it in the breast and the bag; and of carrying it, too, and when always put it close, and was slightly tired, only look at a face on a palm, and a heart comes loose.
